To motivate students to read the best way is to get text they can relate to. Students love to read things they can imagine themselves in. Students have a hard time to wanting to just read anything. Having assignments or creating essays can be challenging for students. If the assignments and/or essays are interesting and relatable to read students will put full effort to write about it. State exams should always have relatable text for students to relate to because it can help them pass the exam with the a high score.
