Personal Learning Networks Mini PowerPoint Presentation
Using AudioBoom for Writing Workshops
AudioBoom can be used to operate a digital, streaming audio to help broadcast information about sports, entertainment and current affairs. This is a great way to get students talk about the lesson they have learned in class and share their information through audioBoom. This can be used like voice thread web tool. This web tool can be used for students to listen to the information and record their own feedback about the information they just heard. This is just another way for students to use technology for classroom learning time.
Here video of above explaining how we as teachers can use this in our curriculum.

Remind Tool - Used mainly for Students and Parents
This is very cool tool because it reminds teachers to get in contact with parents and/or student concerning grades or other important information. This allows students to not have your personal information. Teachers are aloud to sent text messages to parents and have the open communication needed for their child.
Class Dojo to Support the Expectations of Student Behavior inside the Classroom
https://www.classdojo.com
How I feel about Class Dojo? Dojo is an web tool that really works inside the classroom. Students are very concern how many point they received and they also feel bad when they lose points. Student are really worried about their behavior when their points are high. They love to change their avatar to fit their personalities. Dojo is a good tool to use to maintain the behavior of the students and to increase classroom participation.
Skill Builder Games to Enhance Learning in the Educational Environment.
http://www.arcademics.com/games/
Helping students build their skills using Arcademic Skill Builder games for Math and English. The student are interested and love to compete with each other while learning. They are also excited about using the computer. This give students a break from being in the classroom listening to the teacher lecture about a lesson.
Using Arcademic Skill Builders can help increase the skills of students
in their basic math skills, language arts, and vocabulary & thinking
skills. Students will absorb what they are learning and enjoying what they are
learning. Using these academic games will help the development of students
skills increase to help them be well advance in the future.

Week 6 Blog - Comic Books in Education
http://classtechtips.com/2015/10/16/book-creator-update-make-comics-ebooks-on-your-ipad/
Important tips about including comic books inside our educational world.
Creating fun comic books using book creator can be adder to your technology
device as an e-book. Students are able to engage more into the reading by using
different stickers, speech bubbles and captions to understand the setting,
characters, and mood inside the reading. They are able to understand the
reading by expressing themselves using different images about the reading. They
can add their own twist to the story and how the characters are imagined in their
minds. Students will enjoy creating their own e-book by using comic creator in school
for literacy practice; this will help them want to read to create their own
book and how they see in their minds.

Week 3 - Blog - Design Thinking
Week 3 - Blog
Student should always feel comfortable to make mistake when making their designs. Design thinking involve problem solving techniques along with creative thinking. There aren't any steps when designing because steps changes during this process. When designing students has to think of themselves as the users not the customers. During this process student have to think about the good qualities of this project and why it would be needed in the future. Students can collaborate with each other when designing, which takes lots of brainstorming. Design thinking is a process which takes time because this can be a life changing thing.

Week 1 - Blog - Preparing Student for the World
Does school as we know it prepare student for the world they are inheriting?
I feel school does prepare students for the future because
it is a responsibility that student have to keep up with. We can think of this lesson like having a
career. If you slack up at work your boss will confront you. The same goes for students, if they aren’t
performing well in school the teacher will confront them and let them know they
aren’t doing well, what they need to do, and if they don’t do it their will be
consequences.
School can prepare students for adult life only if they take
the responsibility in their own hands. School can also help students by
preparing them to receive their education and be knowledgeable about how to
respect, care, and be honesty on how to treat people. The more students mature
up they will be able to handle real life situations and become great adults.

Design Thinking Can Be Used In A Webtool
Design Thinking can be used as a web tool as well. This a
lesson that can be used for any subject area. I particularly prefer to use this
web tool for Math Lessons.
Empathize
The audience I am targeting is middle and high school
students. Students will be able to work inside the classroom and continue at
home saving their URL in their email address. Students will be able to think
about what would be the simplest video or images to use. Students will be able
to see what they are doing and how they can learn from this lesson. I would
like for them to create a lesson using
different math technique they may not understand to create their own lesson. I
feel if they take the time out to create their own lesson they would understand
the lesson being taught.
Define
The strategy is a great way to keep student interested in
learning new math concepts and mix with old concepts. Students will be able to
learn from each other and discuss the different techniques used in each
project. They have to use a computer and they can move at their own pace
because once they start to understand the lesson if will become easier to them.
Ideate
This can be a group or individual project, which can help
the students, come up with different way to incorporate different videos,
images, Voice Threads, practice worksheets and notes to understand the concept
of creating their own math lesson.
Prototype
I would show an example on how they
can build their lesson using the web tool call edu.glogster.
This web tool includes:
1. Videos
2. Notes
3. Worksheet
3. Worksheet
4. Do Now Questions
5. Examples of answers equations
6. Students also learn how to use the technology offered to complete
this project.
Test
Students are going to use anther student lesson to
demonstrate what they have learned. They will be giving different equations to
see if they would be able to solve them with the lessons other students have
created.
Conclusion
We as a team will create a Blog with all our lessons put
together for other students to experience them.
When students are able to work freely on a project and use their brains
they would then enjoy it. We have so many student who aren’t strong in math and
this is great way to introduce some new ways to approach math with technology.
Students are able to design their web tool to fit them and they will feel very
appreciated. Math is a very hard subject to teach, especially if your dealing
with student who aren't strong in this subject area.
After designing different lessons which may include:
1.
Exponents
2.
Factoring Polynomials
3.
Solving Equations
4.
Solving Inequalities
5.
Radicals
